the new Venture firm can cut the G&A to purple levels, do more e-commerce and right the ship?

That seems like the playbook. There's plenty of room to cut expense. That probably means closing some of the underperforming stores.

The Sleep Economy has some legitimacy. In another ten years there are likely to be offerings that correlate body signals and sleep cycles, but that market will be very small for a while. We have watches to tell us about sleep quality, but that insight can rarely be harnessed to make a measurable change to our sleep environment.

As you indicate, taming G&A early on and establishing the right cultural approach is make or break!
